Pleasant Morning on the Course

A nice course for golfers of all abilities. We were welcomed in the Pro Shop in readiness for our 'early' tee time - 8:00am tee. There is plenty of water to be avoided, but don't be put off by this (10 balls for 10 euros in the Pro Shop). In the main the fairways are not so tight, the water attracted the wayward driver or iron. The course was well watered and maintained, greens were generally 'flat' with little to read, apart from distance and pace. We hired clubs, which were Callaway Diablo Edge with a choice of graphite or steel and all in good condition, as too were the buggies. Out on the course we were kept well refreshed by a 'snack buggy', drinks were cold and refreshing, with a further selection of cold drinks in the Club House. A reasonably priced morning's golf at £50 each including Buggy & Clubs.

Very busy but enjoyable

Returned to Salgados a few years after first playing it. Really enjoyed it. As long as you manage your round you'll do ok. Lots of water but again its all about how you manage it. The place was well maintained, the greens were good and to look at it was pretty spectacular. It was challenging but our whole group loved it - which ranged from a 3 to a 28 handicap. The only criticism was how busy it was. Lots of waiting on the tee boxes which can affect your round and was slightly frustrating. That's my only grumble. Would definitely play it again.
